New Coffee And Pizza Drive-Thru Proposed for Arklow

Arklow could soon welcome a new coffee and pizza drive-thru, as a planning application is due for decision in the coming months. The application submitted by Rye Gap Ltd consists of the erection of a single-storey modular building for use as a coffee and pizza takeaway, the demolition of the single-storey dereclit structure, and the erection of advertising signage along with all associated site works and services.

The site for the development is directly adjacent to John Earls Motors on the Wexford Road and would include parking for both staff and customers. The application was received on 17th December 2024, with a decision initially due by February 18th. However, an extension was granted with a new decision now due by 17th June 2025.
