Herman White begins renovations on new South Leinster branch in Arklow

Herman White has commenced renovations at 67 Main Street, Arklow, ahead of the opening of its new South Leinster branch in late November.

The branch will serve as a hub for the company’s expansion across the east and south-east, building on its existing client base in South Leinster and its established head office in Rathmines, Dublin.

A central factor in choosing Arklow was the personal connection of Herman White’s Director and Chief Operating Officer, Sinead Kearns. An Arklow native who continues to live in the town, Sinead brings extensive professional experience alongside a deep understanding of the area, its people and its property needs.

“Arklow is my hometown, it is where I live, and it is a place I love,” said Sinead. “Opening here is particularly special to me because it means bringing the business I have helped build into my own community.

“I know how much personal attention, clear communication and dependable support matter when people are dealing with property. I’m looking forward to making our full range of services available locally and building lasting relationships with people across Arklow, Wicklow and the surrounding areas.”

Arklow’s position on the M11 and Dublin–Rosslare rail corridor makes it a practical base for serving clients across South Leinster. Investment in essential infrastructure, including the town’s new wastewater treatment plant, is also supporting capacity for future housing and commercial development.

Herman White’s Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ross Ó Súilleabháin, said the move reflects the company’s confidence in the town.

“We see Arklow as a great place to invest in our business and a natural base for our next stage of growth,” said Ross. “We already work with clients across South Leinster, and having a permanent presence here will allow us to build on those relationships and welcome many new ones.

“Sinead and I are delighted to be investing in Main Street. We’re looking forward to getting the doors open, meeting our neighbours and giving people a friendly, comprehensive property service they can call into and rely on.”

All services currently provided by Herman White will be available through the new branch from launch, including:

  • Residential and commercial property sales and lettings.
  • Tailored property management services and consultancy.
  • A 24/7 emergency support line for properties under Herman White’s management.
  • Property valuations for a range of purposes, including sales and probate.
  • Coordinated executor and estate-sale services, including property and contents valuations, house clearances, staging and sales through the company and its partners.

The Arklow office will open Monday to Friday, 9.30am–5.30pm, providing an accessible Main Street point of contact backed by Herman White’s wider team and nationwide client relationships. The investment will also create three direct jobs and is expected to support three to five indirect jobs.

Herman White looks forward to welcoming the people of Arklow, Wicklow and the surrounding areas to an opening evening in late November, following completion of the renovations. The date and further details will be announced shortly.
