Lucy Doyle Farrington Makes Wexford FC Switch

Wexford FC have strengthened their squad with the signing of Goalkeeper Lucy Doyle Farrington. The promising star joins from Arklow United FC ahead of the new LOI Academy season.

She becomes the second Arklow player to join the Wexford FC ranks this month, following Hannah Brauders move from Arklow Town FC.

Lucy is currently in Spain with the U16 Ireland team and started in goal today as the girls in green came from behind to beat Switzerland 3-1 in an International friendly. The squad are due to face Switzerland again on March 1st.

Arklow’s history of producing top players continues, and there will no doubt be huge interest in Hannah and Lucy’s season ahead.
