Little Warriors Celebrates Official Charity Status

Little Warriors
Little Warriors are now a registered charity

There was reason to celebrate this week as Arklow-based support group Little Warriors proudly announced that it has been officially registered as a charity, marking a major milestone in the group’s inspiring journey.

Formed just over three years ago, Little Warriors began as a grassroots initiative with a powerful mission to create a safe, inclusive space for neurodiverse children and their families. Since its formation, the group has grown into a vital part of the local community, offering support, understanding, and playing a role in Arklow’s first step towards becoming an autism-friendly town.

The group has worked tirelessly to promote inclusion, raise awareness, and help others understand the diverse needs and strengths of neurodivergent individuals. They were instrumental in the sensory-friendly viewing area for this year’s Arklow St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Announcing their new charity status, the group said:

“Little Warriors was formed to create a safe space for neurodiverse children and their families to meet, be themselves, feel supported, heard, and find their tribe. We’ve gone on adventures, created treasured memories, and stepped out of our comfort zones and all while being our extraordinary selves.”

“This is the start of our next chapter, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has supported us and cheered us on. Our next adventure is just beginning.”
