IKEA Launches ‘Click and Collect’ Arklow Service

IKEA has announced it is launching a new “Click and Collect” site in Arklow, in collaboration with Tesco Ireland.

The service will provide customers with an accessible option to pick up IKEA orders from their local Tesco store carpark. Any orders under €200 can be collected for free while a €15 fee will be charged for orders over €200.

Arklow has been added to the list of locations following a successful pilot programme in other counties such as Cork, Louth and Kildare.

IKEA Market Manager Jayne Owen-Gauld said:

“The positive reception has been fantastic and resulted in us expanding the service to seven more communities.”

Country Operations Manager for Tesco Ireland, Darrin Honer said:

“Some months into this partnership, we are seeing just how convenient this offering is for customers, who are pairing picking up their IKEA order with doing their weekly shop or picking up their ‘Click and Collect’ order.”
