Coral Leisure Arklow Celebrate 25 Years With Original Committee

Coral Leisure Arklow celebrated their 25 year anniversary with some of their original committee members. The group gathered on Friday night to celebrate the opening of the pool back in 1999.

Memories, stories, and old photographs were shared. One of those original committee members, Nancy Quinn, highlighted the importance of the facility and of swimming.

“Everyone should learn how to swim. We live by the sea, the beach and the quay. Sports with children come and go but swimming lasts forever. It is passed down through generations. It is a skill for life!” 

Coral Leisure Arklow is the largest leisure complex in the South East of the country. It offers members swimming facilities in their 25m pool along, sauna, steam room, gym, indoor squash and racquetball courts, and a large sports centre for activities and childrens parties.
