Chapz Barbers Arklow Announce Closure

Chapz Barbers Arklow has announced it will close its doors in Bridgewater Shopping Centre. A member of staff spoke to Arklow News and expressed their sadness over the closure:

“We have been part of the community over the last 12 years. On a personal level, I am very fond of our regular clients. Especially the elderly and the many children with autism who will no doubt be upset about this.”

Staff from the Arklow premises will be relocating to the Chapz in Gorey inside Tesco so the hope is that some of their regular customers will follow. The Irish-owned business also has outlets in Wexford Town and Dundalk.

It is the second business to close within Bridgewater Shopping Centre in the past few days with the announcement that New Look is to cease all operations in Ireland including Arklow.
