The Colour Club is set to host Arklows first hangout for Autistic Adults

Arklow took another giant step towards becoming an autism-friendly town by announcing its first social hangout for autistic adults. The initiative is in collaboration with Ireland’s Autism Charity, AsIAm, and The Colour Club, which will be hosting the event.

The hour-long hangout will offer a space to chat, meet new friends, and play board games. The first event will take place on Friday 7th March from 12.30-1.30 pm at the Colour Club on the Vale Road. It will then continue on every other Friday. Arklow has embraced the autism-friendly town plan with meetings in recent months and a sensory-friendly viewing area for the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
