Arklow Racquetball Players Shine At Kingscourt Open

Arklow Racquetball players were back in action at the weekend and delivered some outstanding performances at the Kingscourt Open.

Leading the way were Toni Neary and her sister Susan Neary, who displayed exceptional chemistry to claim gold in the Ladies Open Doubles. Toni continued her winning streak by securing victory in the Ladies Open Singles, rounding off a stellar weekend.

In the 60+ Singles division, Jimmy Gannon emerged victorious with a hard-fought win, earning another gold for Arklow. Meanwhile, Jay Barnes battled his way to the Men’s C/D division final, finishing in second place after a competitive match against James Bolger.

A club representative thanked Kingscourt for hosting another successful event and praised their own players who who “represented the club with pride”.

Its been a successful few weeks for the Arklow Racquetball Club who recently scored a haul of medals at the Overage All-Ireland Racquetball Championships in Kilkenny at the beginning of February.
