Arklow Artist Stephanie Sloan’s Prints Shine At Arnotts Pop-Up

Arklow-based artist and printmaker Stephanie Sloan is celebrating a career milestone as her distinctive work has been selected for the prestigious Design Ireland Arnotts pop-up collection, now on display at Arnotts in Dublin.
The curated showcase, featuring 35 brands from across Ireland, highlights the country’s rich craft and design heritage with a contemporary twist. It offers a range of Irish-made products, including ceramics, jewellery, homewares, and fashion.
Running until July on the second floor of Ireland’s oldest and largest department store, the pop-up is a vibrant celebration of creativity, with her prints taking centre stage.
Speaking to Arklow News, Stephanie said:
“I was so delighted to be chosen as part of this collection. Seeing my prints in such an iconic location in the heart of Dublin is a real ‘pinch me’ moment.”
The opportunity carries personal significance as she recalls childhood visits to Arnotts, Ireland’s iconic department store, as some of her earliest memories of the capital.
“I was brought to see Santa there when I was very young. It was the big event of Christmas, driving up O’Connell Street in the dark, looking at the lights.”
“To now have my prints there, amongst such a beautiful collection of Irish-made brands and a thriving, supportive community of designers and makers, is a real milestone for my business.”
The collection features six of her striking prints, each celebrating iconic Dublin coastlines, such as the Forty Foot, Vico Baths in Dalkey, and Sandycove Beach.
Rendered in her signature graphic style, these works offer a fresh, contemporary take on beloved local landmarks. The bold designs showcase her artistic talent and reflect her deep connection to Ireland’s coastal landscapes.
Beyond her success at Arnotts, Stephanie is a passionate advocate for her craft. From her purpose-built garden studio in Arklow, she runs screen print and block print workshops, inviting others to explore the art of printmaking.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to share what I love doing.”
